The Exhibition

On the second floor, the exhibition focuses on the essential work of conservation science – a discipline whose efforts are often hidden from the public eye. Using the collections of the Museum für Konkrete Kunst (MKK) and the Stiftung für Konkrete Kunst und Design (SKKD) as concrete examples, the exhibition illustrates the complexity of a conservator's tasks and the preparatory work required for the planned presentation of the collections in the museum's new spaces.

At numerous stations, visitors can get hands-on experiences and learn firsthand about the methods, workflows, and ethical principles that guide this field.
